Special Initiatives
Port Chicago 320 Memorial Tribute
Beasley Brown CDC is the fiscal sponsor and founding advocate of the Port Chicago 320 Memorial Campaign—a national movement to honor the 320 service members lost in the 1944 Port Chicago explosion. Events include tributes, educational outreach, and student-led remembrance projects.

COVID-19 Health Services
As part of our commitment to public health, Beasley Brown CDC partnered with the City of San Antonio to offer COVID-19 response services, including vaccination clinics, public education campaigns, and support for families navigating the pandemic. Our site has served as a vaccination hub and continues to promote accessible health resources for our community.

An ongoing support is provided to A R Nelson Outreach Center that is affiliated with the San Antonio Food Bank to provide food and provide clothing to individuals in need, those without homes and to families in the community. The services are provided on a weekly basis. Other support services for essential needs are provided by the Center.
